graduation graduating high school It is almost summer. that means school is almost finished for the year. That also means that some of our friends or family members will be graduating. ... When someone graduates_ they will have a celebration. That means they are going to have a party. There may be a lot of food to eat. There may be gifts and cake! some family members of the graduates will go to their school for the celebration. There will be a special ceremony. The graduates will wear special clothes called a "Cap and Gown". their teachers will say special things about them. The graduates will get a diploma. That is a piece of paper that says they have worked very hard in school. everyone will say "congratulations"! The graduates may be planning to go to college or to get a job. The graduates will meet new teachers and new friends there. The graduates may be a little sad to leave their old friends and teachers. if the graduates feel sad they can look at pictures of their old friends and teachers. they can call them on the phone. they can visit each other. The graduates will be happy and excited to learn and do new things. graduating will be a new adventure! happy graduation!
