Although these are "number cards", I am using these for Medial "L" Articulation practice, as well as counting and fine motor practice .  I have printed out three sets.  One set will be the "model" practice set-matching the number with the item and I have pre-cut the puzzle.  The second set will have the child use bottled glitter to trace out the lines.  If the child wants to cut on the glitter lines, he/she can do so.  The third set will be used as a "12 days of Christmas" song:  "On the first day of speech, my teacher gave to me:

one fluffy pillow and a silly smile that causes laughing.

two yellow crayons and a silly smile that causes laughing

three yummy jellies and a silly smile that causes laughing

four boys "helloing"  . . . . .

FIVE smelly tulips  . . . . .

six funny bellies . . . . .

seven island playgrounds  . . . . . .

eight elephants dancing   . . . . . .

nine pulling kids

etc.
