Baby Duck's Feelings This is Teddy baby ducks friend. Mama duck says to baby duck "I like your red shoes". This makes baby duck feel happy! Baby duck dropped his ice cream cone. This makes baby duck sad! Teddy takes away the toy baby duck is playing with. This makes baby duck mad! Baby ducks friends plan him a birthday party. This makes baby duck feel excited! Baby duck and his friends played on the playground all afternoon. This makes baby duck feel tired! Teddy gives baby duck a gift. This makes baby duck feel surprised! Baby duck makes a funny face. Teddy laughs. This makes baby duck feel silly! Dad duck turns off the light in baby ducks room. This makes baby duck feel scared! Baby duck has quiet time. This makes baby duck feel calm!

This simple book introduces feelings in the form of 'cause and effect'. This book can be used on its own until the child or individuals is comfortable and able to understand the feelings in multiple settings. Once understood and ready, you can add the part two addition to the book in which discusses the actions to be done when experiencing these feelings in the form of "when I am... I can..." statements. 

Feelings in this book: happy, sad, mad, tired, surprised, excited, calm, scared, and silly.
